Kiera Rose Collection began with a passion for history, photography, and an unforgettable morning several years ago at a rag quilting workshop led by Gullah educator and culture preservationist, Sharon Cooper-Murray; or as Charlestonians affectionately call her, “The Gullah Lady”.  Charleston Magazine published a great article in 2013 regarding her efforts to preserve the Gullah culture in the Lowcountry.
